I'll start with how much I love this Mascara. It does a great job of thickening my lashes a little and lengthening them. It layers so nicely so I can use a little bit for a casual day look and add more layers for a more dramatic look for a night out. Also, I have no irritation from this mascara, like I have gotten from other plastic free options.
I have been slowly trying to rid my house of single use plastics, and the reusable container and mailer make me so happy because I am not creating plastic waste that ends up in the landfill!

So impressed. The dew stick is terrific and certainly what I’d hoped for but the mascara from Izzy truly shines. I’ve tried many zero waste/low waste/refill mascaras over the years and thus far Izzy’s outshines them all. There’s been no smudging even in hot, humid weather but it’s also blessedly not hard to remove. No clumping either, which is a repeat issue I’ve run into with other low waste mascaras. 10/10 for me!
The Izzy Lash gives such clean, pretty volume, and it comes off so easily at the end of the day.
But the real star for me is the Makeup Meltaway.

This mascara is everything I've ever been looking for, and finally after 23 years, I've found my forever mascara! The zero-waste aspect is my 2nd favorite part of this product behind the formulation! The wand is an absolute dream to use, getting even coating on all my lashes, curling, AND lengthening <3 I have very sensitive eyes and since using this amazing product, I have no burning/stinging or irritation while using (and I sleep in it often).

I really like this clean product that is all recycled and eco friendly. The product is gentle but definitely shows in a great way makeup wise. There are no weird smells and wash off easily.
Unfortunately it’s too dark. I will have to switch back to the clear one which works great just wanted to try try something with color.
I stopped using mascara years ago because I never used much and the plastic packaging was excessive compared to the small amount of product in each tube. Izzy’s “Zero Waste” product checks all the boxes for me: good quality product (applies well, lasts long but is water soluble for removal) and most of all, is packaged in stainless steel with a company-provided return envelope when it’s done. A win for the planet as well as for my routine.

Relief in finding a sustainable production that works without a complication. Been on the hunt for an environmental friendly mascara for years. After trying countless sustainable cake mascara’s which sadly flaked immediately to leave dark circles no matter what I tried.I love that both the brow gel and mascara last during the day to not smudge nor does it make dark spots underneath my eyes. What a relief!
I made the commitment to moving towards a fully non plastic bathroom and was running into issues finding makeup. I was so thrilled when I ran across this company as one to try but was disappointed.
Lip gloss - slight burning after application that lasts about a minute
Eyebrow gel - I’ve had to be super careful to use a VERY small amount. After it dries it grabs onto the skin and flakes appearing dandruff like.
Mascara - Applicator is clunky and hard to use a small amount without clumping. After a day, when I went to wash my face I saw flaking that I presume had been there for a while.
I love that there's finally a zero waste mascara. I have been looking for years! The mascara itself flakes a bit more than I'd like which isn't great as a contact user, but I'm hoping the formula will improve and that will be eliminated over time.
My favorite mascara ever! I am pleasantly surprised how much I love this mascara and the fact that it’s zero waste is the cherry on top! The application is pleasing with length and spread. No clumping or flaking. I put this mascara to the test with sweating and crying and it holds up very well! No black running down my face. I have sensitive eyes and my previous big brand mascara would be irritating and heavy by the end of the day but I can where Izzy for 24 hours without any problem. Highly recommend!
