the metal is sleek and weighty; which i love. however, they use black plastic inside the tube and for the wand - which is the worst type of plastic. the product itself had me very disappointed. does not work at all. wish i could return them. i bought two and now i feel trapped with using them. this eyebrow gel does little to help shape/mold then hold brows in place.
Stays on well as long as I use a finishing powder, otherwise I get raccoon eyes. It’s a common problem with mascaras for me. I love that it’s zero waste, though! That in itself is totally worth the finishing powder.

Um, I am OBSESSED. This is the best mascara I've used, hands-down. No smudging, gorgeous results, easy application... AND sustainable resourcing and packaging that makes me feel good about how my money is spent. Cannot recommend enough.
I love this mascara and brow duo. I cringe when I think of the trash generated by single use plastics. It’s important to me to find products that are zero waste. Often, trade-offs must be made in terms of quality or convenience, which I am often willing to do. But Izzy requires no trade-offs. It is smudge free yet washes away easily. The color and coverage is great. The system to return the empties is easy-as-pie and I know nothing is going to the landfill. I’m a happy customer.

I have thick brows, and was not satisfied with the amount of product that would come out of the bottle onto the brush. Even if I swirled the brush around, the design of the bottle, where the opening is super tiny, makes it so that the brush was barely small enough to fit through, presumably squeezing off product. There was so little product in the brush each time, that I couldn't see if any had come out, and application onto my hand showed a tiny amount. I was also not a fan that I had no way of knowing how much product was in the bottle. Because of the very small opening and the black interior, there is no way to know how much product one has to start with or if you are out.
I'm obsessed!!!!!! Looks great even after a yoga class. I don't wear a ton of makeup, so I love that it gives me a lift without being too heavy. Also, the container and envelope are both reusable, a conscious consumer's dream!
I'll start with how much I love this Mascara. It does a great job of thickening my lashes a little and lengthening them. It layers so nicely so I can use a little bit for a casual day look and add more layers for a more dramatic look for a night out. Also, I have no irritation from this mascara, like I have gotten from other plastic free options.
I have been slowly trying to rid my house of single use plastics, and the reusable container and mailer make me so happy because I am not creating plastic waste that ends up in the landfill!

So impressed. The dew stick is terrific and certainly what I’d hoped for but the mascara from Izzy truly shines. I’ve tried many zero waste/low waste/refill mascaras over the years and thus far Izzy’s outshines them all. There’s been no smudging even in hot, humid weather but it’s also blessedly not hard to remove. No clumping either, which is a repeat issue I’ve run into with other low waste mascaras. 10/10 for me!
